Four Days with David Lanz

Four Day Workshop

David Lanz has spent his lifetime playing, composing, recording, touring, working and ultimately succeeding in the music business. In addition to his regular recording and concert schedule, he gives workshops around the country interacting with groups of piano students and music teachers. Our guests will experience daily gourmet meals, welcoming concert, two workshops with Q & A sessions, a private lesson with David (aimed at your individual skill level for those interested) impromptu performances, a special evening showing of David's Southwest inspired DVD Living Temples, and a concert on Saturday with David performing selections from his brand new solo piano recording Painting The Sun and upcoming release, Liverpool.

It is not necessary for guests to be pianists. This four day event is open to all music lovers and aficionados.

Family Retreat

David Lanz has inspired countless pianists, musicians, and music lovers around the world with his unique musical gift and positive outlook on life. He has given workshops around the country interacting with groups of piano students, their teachers, and their parents. He has conducted numerous workshops for the students of LaFond Conservatory of Music; each and every one of those youngsters came away from that experience forever changed. Here is a once in a lifetime opportunity for you to talk through your child’s musical goals and aspirations with David, in very personal, one on two conversations. Children as well as parents will have the opportunity to play for David; parents will receive instruction on helping their youngster on a day-to-day basis after the Retreat is long over. Don’t miss this unique opportunity for you and your child to interact with the Master of modern piano music.

Saturday Evening Concert

( The concert will feature guest performer, Gary Stroutsos, with David performing selections from their latest CD, Liverpool. David will also perform many of his classics.)

As part of every retreat, David performs a special concert on Saturday evening. This year, he will highlight his new CD, Liverpool, as well as playing many of his Lanz classics.

Appetizers and wine will be served at 6:30pm. Concert begins at 7:30pm. Dessert, coffee and tea will be served following the concert.
